Have you any tips for cutting food straight? I always start out fine but end up making a slice extra thin on the other side. With everything! Bread, meat, cheese, processed meat (with no grain), fudge, butter.. Google isn’t coming to my rescue, it just wants to teach me to chop veggies.

A mandolin. Find ways to cut things so that they have a flat surface sitting on the cutting board. There are also uniform press cutters if it’s that important to you, honestly, though, cooks just do it by muscle memory
