Me and my friend were wondering about this. When did the word “fuck” start to become offensive? Google said the first recorded use of it like that was around the 1500s. Do you know? I just find it so interesting how versatile in sentences the word is today, yet somehow it’s still considered offensive. So do you know why it’s offensive? And maybe some linguistics on why you can use it in almost any way, that would also be cool. Thanks!

It’s actually much older than that. I’ve heard it used by Burgundians and Englishmen in the North of France. Quite old and it has always meant what it means. In my opinion, it is one of the most consistently used terms in the language. Of course, it may have shifted spellings in the older times, as there were no dictionaries and there were many language influences from languages with analogues.
It’s a good word. I miss “sard” though.

This word is an old one from the 17th century, originating in the Latin adimplere, which means “to fill”. The second usage is by far the more interesting one and originates in the religious use of the term, referring to the holy spirit, and so forth.
Example: “To adimpleate the sack, one uses a special nozzle.” or “Nothing adimpleates my good mood better than a warm beverage.”
So is it weird/uncomfortable that so many people treat you as a friend now, when you’re used to being treated as a monster? Or is it a refreshing change of pace? Something else entirely?
It’s bizarre and frankly still concerning, but comfortable.
Almost like when you walk outside wearing a pari of trousers you’ve worn to holes. You know you ought not to. You know the neighborhood can see your nethers. you know this is bad, but…damn it feels nice.
I hope that analogy makes it clear.

I’m not actually immortal. I’m sure there exists a way to kill me. I simply have never tried the right one. Nor have I encouraged another to do so.

I do. Not in the sun, but in the evening or at night.
What is your normal body temperature? Do you maintain a constant body temperature both at day and night? And also can you move your hair? Since you said they are a type of sensory organ for your species. I guess human hair is too considering the way it conducts contact stimulus but it sounded like yours were a little bit more sensitive than just a bunch of dry protein strands.
My body tenp is usually cold. Colder than a human. When I eat I burn hotter. My hair often moves on its own. I can make it move if I think about it. I can’t always control where it moves.
Wait, you can see underground? What is that like? And how far?
“See”. “Sense” is a better word.
What do you know of what lies beneath the surface of the earth? Is there anything you might know that humanity isn’t aware of?

how long can you hold your breath? does chlorine in pools bother your eyes if you open them?
A while. And yes, but luckily, my eyes heal swiftly so any irritation I do feel is minor in impact.
